Since OptimHal's inception, we have always considered the opinions of the medical community in the design and improvement of our products. Our OrHal® mask was designed and manufactured following feedback from doctors about the difficulty children have breathing through their mouths while wearing a mask. This is why OrHal® was invented: a mask with a partition to isolate the nose and facilitate mouth breathing for patients aged 1 to 6 years. To our knowledge, OrHal® is the only mask to date to offer this solution.
Thanks to its flexibility, OrHal® adapts perfectly to the face. Proper positioning improves the seal and limits leakage on the face, ensuring better absorption of the treatment.
Starting around 12 months, the nose gradually becomes functional and acts as a filter against the inhalation of external particles. As it develops, it also helps retain medication particles thanks to the cilia and nasal mucus. To ensure proper medication intake, it then becomes essential to inhale through the mouth .
