MinimHal® , a modular inhalation chamber that adapts to all mechanical ventilation circuits

MinimHal® is a small-volume (60mL) single-patient inhalation chamber, designed and manufactured entirely in France, for use with both invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation systems. It offers an effective and safe solution for improving medication administration via pressurized metered-dose inhaler and/or vibrating mesh nebulizer without disconnecting the system .

Who is the MinimHal inhalation chamber intended for?® ?

MinimHal ® was designed for children and adults requiring inhaled therapy during respiratory support.

It is intended for use in pulmonology, resuscitation, intensive care and operating room departments.

Can be used with the Respimat inhaler®

Respimat ® (Boehringer Ingelheim) is an inhaler used for the treatment of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other respiratory conditions.

The adapter, which can be supplied with the spacer device, allows the use of a Respimat® inhaler with MinimHal® on a mechanical ventilation circuit. Designed to maintain a tight seal on the circuit, the adapter ensures safe use.

proven effectiveness of MinimHal®

MinimHal - proven effectiveness
  1. When used with a vibrating mesh nebulizer, MinimHal ® increases the pulmonary deposition of salbutamol.
  2. MinimHal ® allows you to increase the dose delivered with a metered-dose aerosol up to 3 times.
  3. In vitro studies carried out on MinimHal ® have shown drug deposition, both with pressurized metered-dose inhaler and vibrating sieve nebulizer, superior to depositions obtained with T-adapters, traditionally used systems.

MinimHal ® is an inhalation chamber designed to benefit the patient and facilitate the work of caregivers:

  1. Allows switching from a metered-dose aerosol to a nebulizer without having to open the circuit.
  2. It avoids the risk of contamination thanks to its airtight caps and single-use design.
  3. Limits interventions on the ventilation system.
  4. Allows monitoring of the circuit thanks to its transparent material.
  5. Does not alter ventilatory parameters.
  6. Can be used for the entire lifespan of the ventilation system.
  7. Can be positioned at different levels of a mechanical ventilation circuit.
  8. Installing MinimHal® is quick and easy.
